July 2023 Construction Update

Starting on Monday, July 17, at 1197 Lick Ave. construction will begin on 135 units of affordable housing adjacent to Tamien Station. The construction process will begin with construction staging on the Tamien Station east side parking lot. We encourage you to visit our website (tamienstationdevelopment.com) to learn more about the project and receive construction updates for both neighbors and transit riders of the Tamien VTA light rail, bus and Caltrain stations.

What: Construction Staging

Heavy equipment mobilization
Temporary fencing
Foundation excavation
Underground utilities

When:

Starting 7/17, Monday – Friday, 7 AM – 5 PM

Where:

Tamien Station east side parking lot

Construction Impacts:

Regular construction noise during the scheduled timeframe, but there will be no pile driving.
Changes to the Tamien Station east side parking lot, including a reduction in the amount of parking spaces and a relocation of ADA stalls.
